Passed away with his loved ones by his side, at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, on Friday, September 15, 2017, at the age of 76. Predeceased by his wife Maria (2000). Cherished by his dear partner Josie Iacozza. Loving father of Joe (Rose) and the late Marco (2015). Beloved son of the late Giuseppe (1963) and the late Chiarina (2015). Cherished grandfather of Julian and Maria. Dino was a proud employee of Dofasco for 34 years. He had a passion for music and shared his gift as a long-time member of the Coro Abruzzese. Dino will also be remembered as a friend to his church community as parishioner and usher at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 3:30 - 9 p.m. Prayer Vigil for Dino at 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 165 Prospect Avenue North, Hamilton, on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, memorial contributions to the St. Anthony of Padua Maintenance Fund would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
