Condolence From: Louise Milota
Condolence: I met Barbara when we were both enjoying the Chopin Tour in France. She was wonderfully flamboyant and fun to be with, instantly fitting in with my long term friends Norma Forster and of course, Don Himes, with whom she was studying at the time. I have not seen her very often, although she did come for a visit to the San Francisco Bay area where I live, and for some time, I used to come to Toronto every year and would make a point of seeing her. She was a beautiful lady in all respects and we will miss her.

Condolence From: John Kenneth Adams
Condolence: Barbara made many friends at the Paris French Piano Institute, myself among them. She was always full of life, eager to join the discussion, and be a tour guide when needed. I always appreciated her wide understanding of so many human questions, and trusted her advice. We all loved her and felt she was at home with us. RIP my dear friend of many years. collyer
