It is with great sorrow the family announces the unexpected passing of Paul on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 - at the age of 53. Loving husband of Peggy, and adoring father of Andrea and Emily. Much loved son of Robert and the late Barbara Cline and son-in-law of Donald and Carole Bates. Beloved brother of David (Brenda), Kathryn (Kevin Whitehouse) and John (Michelle). Cherished brother-in-law of Stephanie Hayes (Adam) and Jake Bates. Dearly missed also by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the incredible staff on the Heart Failure and Transplant teams at the Toronto General Hospital for their compassion and care. As per Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation Trinity United Church, 100 Main Street West, Grimsby on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service beginning at 11:30 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre - Toronto General Hospital (http://www.uhn.ca/PMCC/Foundation/Pages/how_give.aspx) in lieu of flowers would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
