Condolence: So sorry for your loss... this is rather late as I just found out recently. He was another of the great ones of that generation... so dedicated, caring, scholarly, spiritual and had the gift of writing which he used for the glory of God. Thinking of the whole family.

Condolence: I feel a profound sorrow in my heart upon hearing the news tonight of the loss of a person who was my mentor, friend, and spiritual guide in my life in ways that I will never be never able to repay. I have no words to express the respect and gratitude I have for the influence for good both Max and Pat had on my life - when I had so little to give in return they welcomed me, encouraged me, gave me an example to follow, and did so with such joy and sense of adventure. There are few people in my life who I have a greater respect and admiration for than these two saints. In our culture we celebrate fame and celebrity - someday I believe with all my heart we will learn to celebrate what these two people brought to this broken world of ours - love, dedication, courage, sacrifice, compassion, joy, unselfishness - then these two heroes (like so many) will get the applause they so richly deserve. Well done Max and Pat. So many of us are that much richer for having the privilege of walking along beside you in our lives.

Condolence: A man of God; a man of prayer, a humble man; an encourager; Dare I say" A man after God's own heart".The man who visited me at ICU in J.B. hospital and prayed a prayer that lifted me to Jesus's breast and gave me peace. The man who( always accompanied by his precious wife) picked me up many times and drove to "The Villa" sharing songs, prayers and God's word with my dear Hubby Len. The man, when I moved to my Apartment made a visit and prayed God's presence in every room .Now here in my little Prayer Room there is a presence always of God's eternal assurance " Lo I am with you always". This is the Man I knew for many years! A saint of God called Home to await the Resurrection! "In the twinkling of an eye Christ will break the Eastern sky." Until that day I with Len will meet you in The Morning! God's beautiful morning!.

Condolence: Dear Pat, Bram, Geoff, Vangi, Chris: How appropriate that Max was promoted to glory on Canada Day. The nation has lost one of its imaginative citizens; the Army has lost one of its story tellers; many of us have lost a dear friend. Thanks to all of you for your tender care of Max during this past year. With our deepest affection, Ray and Cathie Harris
