Obituary for Alonso Joseph Aragon

It is with broken hearts we announce that Alonso Joseph Aragon Jr., born November 24, 1978, has peacefully passed away at his home on the morning of June 25, 2017. He was raised by his loving father, Alonso, and his caring mother, Zoila, into an impeccable gentleman- innocent and always giving. Even with his developmental disability, he followed his sister Christine's example and graduated from Michael Power/St. Joseph's, setting a good example for his younger brother, Pierre.

Alonso Jr. had a smile that could touch any person and he was the embodiment of pure love that radiated not only throughout his family, but through anyone that had the chance to meet him. He had a passion for his family, music, and dancing. He was a great son, an amazing brother, and a happy, loving uncle. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten by all of his family and friends from all over the world.

If anyone would like to pay their respects, the visitation will be held at the Smiths Funeral Home at 485 Brant Street in Burlington on Wednesday, June 28 from 5-8pm and the funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2366 Headon Road in Burlington on Thursday, June 29 at 12 o'clock noon, followed by burial at the Greenwood Cemetery at 1:30pm. Refreshments will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alonso Joseph Aragon Jr. to Christian Horizons would be greatly appreciated. https://www.christian-horizons.org/ - Halton Chapter (Oakville)
