Passed away peacefully at the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Corrie (2014). Loving father of Rita (Warren), Helen Wing (Alan), Corri Riddell (Jim), Dorothy Speakman (Brian), Susan Roman (Walter) and Don (Carol). Proud Opa of Michelle, Graham, Kira (Richard), Adrian, Sonia, Brandon, Michael, Sean, Fraser, Lauren, Devon, Brittany (Chris), Nathan, Tarah, Christine, Sophie and Julia, and great-grandfather of Charlotte.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 AM. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Carpenter Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
