MALDA, Gerridina “Diane” (nee Bosscher)-
Peacefully in her sleep, after a stroke, the Lord took to Himself, Diane Malda, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Sunday, May 21, 2017, a few days before her 93rd birthday. She is reunited with her beloved husband of 58 years, John Malda(2006). Loving mother of Renee and Winston Huizinga (Australia), John and Jacqueline Malda (Waterdown), Grace and Bert Vanderwoerd (Guelph), Harry and Irene Malda (Burlington), Rose Malda (Burlington) and Elizabeth and Neil van Weerden (Guelph). Cherished Oma of 29 grandchildren, their spouses and 59 great-grandchildren whom she adored. Loved sister of ᵻJohn Bosscher (ᵻAlie) of Burlington, ᵻRoelie Stad (ᵻThijs) of Holland, ᵻFred Bosscher (Bea), Ralph Bosscher (Hennie), ᵻGerrie Bosscher (Ann) all of Burlington, Fennie Hofstede (ᵻAlbert), Jannie Diek (Jan), Henk Bosscher (Riet) all of Holland. Dear sister-in-law of ᵻRenske Grimmerink (ᵻBerend Jan), ᵻLize Dejong (ᵻKlaas), ᵻHarm Malda (ᵻDien), ᵻAfke Bouwhuis (ᵻJan Hendrik). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews both in Canada and The Netherlands. Diane’s greatest joy in life was her family. She lived a beautiful long life, travelling many times to Australia and Holland to spend time with her family. She was an active member in the Choir for many years and enjoyed tending her gardens. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Visitation at Ebenezer Canadian Reformed Church, 607 Dynes Road, Burlington on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. The Reverend A. Roukema officiating. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations to Anchor Association, 361 Thirty Road, Beamsville, ON L0R 1B2 would be appreciated.
