THOMSON, ALBERT GEORGE
Peacefully passed away at home on May 11th in his 89th year, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of 52 years to the late Joan Thomson (nee Cassidy). Loving father of Terry and her husband Ted Milewski, Paul Thomson, Jim Thomson and his family and Nancy Thomson. Cherished grandfather of Marc (Evie) and Kirstie Milewski. Dear brother of William Thomson (Joanne) and the late Norm Thomson (Norma). Al will be fondly remembered by many family including many nieces and nephews as well as many special friends. Al was a loyal Stelco employee for over 35 years, having worked in both Quebec and Ontario. The family wishes to give special thanks to the support from Saint Elizabeth staff. Finally we wish to acknowledge Kate, Pat and Elizabeth, your support, kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to St. Elizabeth Foundation (Charitable Program "End of Life Care") would be sincerely appreciated.
