Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Shalom Manor, on Sunday, March 19, 2017, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Cornelis (1995). Beloved mother of Martin Keus (Evelyn), Corrie Kellestine, Evert Keus (Mary), Harry Keus (Betty), Casey Keus (Susan), Dixie Boyd (Richard) and Margaret Cook (David). Cherished grandmother of Aubrey (Andrea), Amy, Corinne (Tim), Shawn (Jody), Brent (Stephanie), Kim (Rob), Christopher, Joshua (Brandy), Melanie (Ryan), Jessica (Cab), Becky (Josh), Damian (Pam), Adriana, Mark (Jen), Dani, Matthew (Ruth), Stephen (Anne), Michael and Robert. Great-grandmother of Holly, Ethan, Paige, Haydn, Sarah, Donelle, Madison, Braden, Cierra, Violet, Anna, Leah, Sarah, Christianna, Mackenzie, Tyler, Denver, Aiden, Ben, Amelia, Ewan, Kaiden, Joseph, Asha, Deva, Seth and Abel. Predeceased by her parents Willem and Cornelia Brand, son Wim, eight brothers and great-granddaughter Temia. Special thanks to everyone at Shalom Manor for their care and compassion. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 10 Mountain Street, Grimsby, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Family interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions to Shalom Manor or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
