Obituary for Gilda Rosatone (Angelone)

Passed away peacefully at Pine Villa Nursing Home, on Saturday, February 25, 2017, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Domenico for 58 years. Loved mother of Lodovico "Vico" Rosatone and his wife Enrica. Cherished grandmother of Stefano, Selena and Domenic. Predeceased by her siblings Settimio, Agata and Attilio Angelone (late Salve). Dear sister-in-law of Eufrazia Dirameo (late Antonio), Oriente DiMeo (Tony), Panfilo Rosatone (Lucia) and the late Rosa DeSanctis (late Vincenzo). Gilda will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, Compari and close friends. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 3-5 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Barton Street East and Gage Avenue North, Hamilton, on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
