Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his beloved wife Gerda Pantel (2001). Loving father of Richard Pantel (Jennifer) of North Vancouver, BC and Karin Pantel of Calgary, AB. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Lydia and Sabina. Ted is survived by his sister Ella Silzer of Mossbank, SK. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, BURLINGTON, ONT (905-632-3333), on Friday, March 10th from 4-7p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 11th at 10:30a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Ted to the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
