Obituary for Dr. Roger Wilson Thomas Haddon

Haddon, Dr. Roger Wilson Thomas

Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Devoted and loving husband to Maureen for 55 years. Loving and proud father of David (Jennifer), Christopher, and Ruth Semon (Eric). Cherished grandfather to Benjamin, Timothy, Alex, Kate and Thomas.

Roger was born in Wales. He graduated from Durham University Medical School in 1962 and emigrated to Canada in 1967. Roger was an associate at the University of Toronto and McMaster University. He was a dedicated and caring physician at Toronto General Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital Respiratory Department and Joseph Brant Hospital. Roger was a volunteer for over 25 years as a Medical Advisor with the Halton Lung Association and with the YMCA Post Cardiac class for many years. In his spare time, Roger was an avid tennis player, enjoyed crosswords and sudoku, and was a fan of both jazz and attending the theatre. His most recent passion was the game of golf.

Our family sincerely thank Dr. M. Robinson, Dr. W. Nisker, nurse Olga and Wellness House for their exceptional care of Roger.
