Obituary for Emanuele Centofanti

It is with great sadness that we announce, the passing of Emanuele at Village of Wentworth Heights, surrounded by the love of his family, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the age of 76. Born in Introdacqua, Italy, he is the beloved husband and best friend of Mary Ann (nee Bevilacqua) for 40 years. Loving father of Marco and John Centofanti. Adored brother of Giuseppe Centofanti. Predeceased by his parents Eugenio and Maria, brothers Sabatino and Mario and sisters Carmela and Anna, all of Introdacqua. Son-in-law of the late John and Igina Bevilacqua. Deeply missed by his brother-in-law John Bevilacqua and his wife Colleen of Columbus, Ohio. Uncle to many nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy and the U.S.A. He was loved and will be missed by many friends, especially Andrea, Mauro and Mario. Emanuele was a proud retired member of the Carpenters Local 18 and member of the Introdacqua Association of Hamilton. A special thank-you and appreciation to the staff at Village of Wentworth Heights for their many years of compassionate care and support. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family. We remember their love when they can no longer remember.
