Obituary for Gordon Roy Goodchild

Gord passed away on January 11, 2017 at Burloak Long Term Care, palliative unit, in his 70th year. His loving partner Betty never left his side. Predeceased by his parents Horace and Winifred of Watford, England. Loving stepfather to Jody (Adrienne), Jeff (Sarah), and Jamie (Linda). Loved dearly and will be missed by his 6 grandchildren; Madison (Grasshopper), MacKenzie, Carter, Grayson, Ocean, and Brielle. The family would like to thank all the staff at Burloak for the wonderful care they have provided for Gord during the past three years. Your compassion and selflessness will never be forgotten.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 12 NOON until the time of service at 1:00pm in the Chapel. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gord can be made to the Burloak Long Term Care: Palliative Unit.
