Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Creekway Village on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Grenier. Loving mother of Nancy Grenier (Brian Hardie), Ginette Grenier (Andy Markowski) and Michèle Grenier (Shaunne Bloomfield). Cherished grandmother of Shane (Jennifer), Marshall (Chelsey), Cody (Jessi), Chantal, Tyrone, Michelle, Justin and great grandmother of Shayla and Lea. Monique is survived by her siblings Yvon (Rolande), Ginette (René), Ghislaine, Nicole, Diane, Liette and Alain. Predeceased by her parents Armand and Linette and sisters Gisèle and Marie-Paule. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 11a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Monique are asked to please consider the Alzheimer Society.
