SCOLLARD, John "Jay" Vincent (1932-2016)

Passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the age of 84. Loving father of the late Mark Scollard (Monique Granby), Joan Large, Bill Scollard (Deanne), Janice Scowen (Brent) and Patti Selfe (Wilf). Favourite cherished Grandpa of Brian (Ali), Brandon (Erika), Jacklyn, Chelsey, Vanessa, Katelyn, Jessica, Connor, Cailin and Gabby. Dear brother to Marcie, Rita (late Noe), Gerald and brother- in- law to Corinne Scollard. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends, extended family and by his friends and staff at the Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club. Jay is predeceased by his son Mark (1986), his parents David and Norielle (nee Crough) Scollard, sisters Loretta (late Laurie), Jeanna (late Bernie) and by his brothers Al and Father Joseph.Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm . Eulogy at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 2016 Blairholm Ave., Burlington on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. For those who wish, memorial donations in memory of Jay may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
