Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday October 18, 2016. Loving husband to Lynne McCulloch (Pammenter). Devoted father to his daughters of (the late) Evelyn: Susan White (Bob) of Wiarton, Karen McCulloch (Jan Menkel) of Lion’s Head, Phillis McCulloch (Aqeel Zaman) of Toronto. Stepfather to Glynnis Proskunicki (Eric) of Burlington. Grandfather to Russell, Micah (Corey), Keagan, Emily and great grandfather to North. He will be missed by his sister Mary King of Bellingham, Washington, and predeceased by his brother Neil of Vancouver. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Geological mining engineer (U of T). He was a geologist in Timmins, Mexico and the U.S.A. Manager at Stelco, 20 inch mill. Enjoyed some retirement years as a school bus driver. As a member of the Burlington Baptist Church, he was a person of humour, enormous curiosity, a lover of people, books, rocks, art, nature and violins. We remember him as a humble Renaissance man.Visitation will take place at Burlington Baptist Church (2225 New Street, Burlington) on Saturday, November 5, 2016 starting at 12pm until the time of the Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
