Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Sunday, October16, 2016, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy (2007). Loving mother of the late George Vonas and the late David Boxall. Cherished grandmother of Victor Vonas (Donna Murray), Nigel Vonas (Kana Yanagawa) and Michelle Theoret (Daniel). Dear sister of Alice Meyer and Nitsa Savva. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22 Head Street, Hamilton, on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton. For those who wish, donations in memory of Anita to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
