Obituary for Roy Arthur Harris
HARRIS, Roy Arthur (March 5, 1932 to September 22, 2016)
Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joan; his daughter Heather and her husband Greg, grandchildren Allison and Rebecca; and son Joe. Roy is also survived by his sisters Margaret McDonald and Ruth McKinnon. Roy worked for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation for his entire career and enjoyed an early retirement of cottage life near the shores of Lake Huron. Friends and family are welcome to come together for a dedication service and tea to be held at East Plains United Church, 375 Plains Rd. E., Burlington on Saturday October 8, 2016 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Roy's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
