Passed away peacefully at Albright Manor on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the age of 75. Predeceased by her beloved husband Sudarshan "Darsh" (2014). Loved mother of Jamette Mongia (Ryan Knuth) and Gurmukh Mongia (the late Tina). Cherished grandmother of Odin and Sage. Loved sister of Shirley-Anne Daynard and Ken Dear. Predeceased by her sisters Joyce Running and Ellen Dumond. Dorothy will be dearly missed by her many friends, nieces and nephews. An extra special thank you to the PSW's, nurses and staff of Albright Manor for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. with Tributes at 8:30 p.m. for anyone wishing to share stories or memories of Dorothy.
