Passed away at Welland County General Hospital, on Monday, August 15, 2016, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Ewald "Ed" (2003). Loving mother of Anita (James) and the late Art (2009). Cherished grandmother of Erik, Ashley, Ryan, Carrie (Feras), Kirsten, Matthew, Leah, Adam and Chelsea, and 5 great-grandchildren. Rosa will be fondly remembered by her friends at the Continental Austrian Club. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10:30 am, followed by a reception at the funeral home. For those who wish, donations in memory of Rosa to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
