DRYDEN, Murvel Elizabeth 'Betty'
Passed away peacefully at The Village of Tansley Woods, Burlington on Thursday, July 21, 2016 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Dryden (2000). Loving mother of Gail Farkas of Toronto and Robert Dryden and his wife Audrey of Burlington. Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Caitlin Campbell), Tanner, Jeremy and Brandon (Rachel) and great-grandmother of Julia. Predeceased by her siblings Marie Twiss, Olive Squires, Winnie Heslop, Jean McGrath and John Richardson and by her son-in-law Gabriel. A special thanks to Dr. Ragonetti and to all the staff at The Village of Tansley Woods for their care and compassion. Betty was a longtime member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church and the Jean Gordon Auxillary. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 26th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Reception to follow. Interment St. Paul's Presbyterian Churchyard Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to The Alzheimer's Society or St. Paul's Presbyterian Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
