Obituary for Peggy Kathleen Williams-Yeagers (Allcock)
Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 18 at The Brant Centre, Burlington at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Wilfred Leonard (March 1957). Dear Mum of Debbie (Jim) Spiers, Kevin (Diane), Beverley (John) Lafave and Dennis (Yvonne). Cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Peggy is predeceased by her parents and seven siblings. She was a previous member of the Dofasco Pipe Band. She also will be remembered as an avid bowler in various social leagues around the area. A very heartfelt thank you to the staff, nurses and caregivers especially Rebecca, Anaka, Jody, Voitek, Luba, Twinkle, Leanne, Nicole, Lucy, Maya, Rose, Kerry, Josephine, Renato, Susan, Deanne, Flora, Victoria, Lori, Teresa, Suzanne and the Recreation Staff at The Brant Centre for the love, care and support that has been given to Peggy and her family the last five years. Also a special thank you to Dr. Karnis for being such a wonderful doctor to our mum. A Service of Remembrance at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:30 am with a reception to follow. A private family interment at a later date at Woodland Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Peggy may be given to The Burlington Humane Society.
