Passed away at The Carpenter Hospice, on June 18, 2016, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Bob. Devoted mother to Sally (Kent) Ackland, Robert, Jim(Jeanette). Loving grandmother of Ryan, Gregory, Joel, Jeremy, Jacqueline and Jenna. Great Grandmother of Chélyn, Makaela, Parker, Wesley, Lovisa and Mayla. Betty is survived by sisters Ethel and Muriel, and brother John (Cora). She is predeceased by brothers George, Bill and Norman.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday from 7- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. For those who wish, donations in memory of Betty to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
