Obituary for Bruno Joseph Robillard Morgan

Bruno Joseph Robillard Morgan
MORGAN, Bruno Joseph Robillard-

Passed away at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on May 22 at the age of 89. Loving father of Deborah Morgan (Eddy), Melanie Neilson (Charlie) and Michele Farris (David). Dear Grandfather to Lucas (Kathleen), Ryan (Heather), Connor (Kristina), Taylor, Morgan, Sean (Lucia) and Tanya (Nate); and Great-Grandfather to Jake, Savannah, and Charlotte. Bruno cherished his brothers Phillip, John (Cinci), and Robert (Larry), and dear sister Maryon (the late Marcus), and enjoyed a close and loving relationship with his former wife, JoAnne Mary Stone (Robert), and his dear friend, Patricia Neilson. He enjoyed his many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Dr. Phillipe J.G. and Marion Morgan, and his siblings William (Bill), Eileen and Anna.

Bruno was a trained illustrator, specializing in automotive drawings; but he was very proud to have spent 37 years of his life as Manager, Nu-Car Releasing. He was a former Knight of Columbus in Windsor. Among his charities, Bruno was especially pleased to support the Oakville Hospital Foundation for over 25 years.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Heritage Place for their friendship and compassion, as well as, Dr. M. Viqar Khan and Linda; Dr. G.K. Jansz and Jane; the staff of Acclaim Health and the CCAC; and the staff and volunteers at The Carpenter Hospice for their comfort and care in the last stage of his life.

Friends will be welcomed by the family at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 7-9pm, where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 28, 2016 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Private cremation to take place at a later date. If desired, donations to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
