SHEPHERD, David Edward
Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Phyllis Shepherd (nee Murray). Loving father of Sharon Childs and the late Christine Hill (Don). Cherished grandfather of Jade Davies (Chris) and Blake Hill and great grandfather of Jordan, Jayden and Jace. Predeceased by his sister Mildred Esposto and brothers-in-law David and Kenneth Murray. Dave will be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Eugenio Esposto and sisters-in-law Suzanne and Jayne Murray as well as his nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his special friends Danny and Annie Holmes. Dave retired from Stelco after 33 years. As per Dave’s wish, cremation has taken place. Interment Hamilton Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in his memory are asked to please consider The Carpenter Hospice or a charity of choice. www.smithsfh.com
