Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the age of 64. Loved husband and soul mate of Kathryn Kudrenski (nee Gottfried). Loved father of Lisa. Predeceased by his parents William and Violet Kudrenski and mother-in-law Mary Gottfried. Cherished brother of John Slade (Janette) and Carole Holder (John). Loved nephew of Mona McLaughlin. Dear brother-in-law of John Gottfried (Barbara) and Jim Gottfried (Debbie). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Bill enjoyed his work as a professional engineer and was highly respected by his many colleagues and associates in his industry. Bill was an accomplished guitar player who over many years played in numerous local bands. He also enjoyed a good game of golf. As per Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 10 Mountain Street, Grimsby on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
