Peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2016, Stan, in his 89th year, was called to be with the Lord. Beloved husband of the late Helen Ways for 59 years. Loving uncle of Christine (Dan) Folia and great-uncle of Brandon and Matthew Folia. Dear brother of Adele Bakos (late Stephen) and the late Joseph Ways (Magda). Cherished cousin of Adele and Peter Platsko, and Zenis and Margaret Zyma. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington.
