de Jong, Albertha (nee Louwrink) 1921- 2015
Formerly of the Stoney Creek and Ancaster area, surrounded by her family, Albertha passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Creekway Village, Burlington of 94 years. Loving wife of Marinus de Jong for 69 years. Cherished mother to Roelie (Hans) Van Binsbergen and John (Carla) de Jong. Dear Oma to Jason (Shelly), Kimberley (Lloyd), Monique (Marv) and Dennis. Great-oma to Mitchell, Mackenzie, Kamerin, Kailey, Jenessa, Chad, Aidan and Easton. Albertha will be missed by her sister Hilda and brother Roelof of the Netherlands. She is predeceased by her parents and many siblings. Special thanks to the staff at Creekway Village for their compassionate care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday from 6-8 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 10:30 am followed by a reception. Interment White Chapel Cemetery, Hamilton. For those who wish, donations in memory of Albertha to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
