It is with great sadness that after a long and courageous battle with cancer our beautiful angel Tina Louise passed away at the age of 50 on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Family was everything to Tina, she leaves behind her loving parents Gene and Marion Harms, and her devoted husband Carlos Rios. Tina was so proud and honoured to be the nurturing mom to Jarrid, Taysia and Austin, friend of their father John & Heather. She was an amazing sister to Jay and wife Jodine, Teela and husband Roland. Adoring Auntie to Kenyel, Dakota, Olivia and Tauher. Special cousin to Lizette, Alvaro, Nico and Tito. Tina had touched so many lives throughout her journey and will be missed dearly by her Uncle Dallas and Aunt Marie, Don and Carol Lavallee, Charlie and Joan Dubé, The Winiarski, Harms, Fuller and Rios families, along with extended Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins. She was so blessed to have the wonderful support from Tina’s “Angels of Stoney Creek”. Tina’s wish is for all who knew her, to simply pick up the phone and tell your family and friends you love them. Donations can be made in Tina’s honour to the Juravinski Cancer Centre. Thank you to an amazing team of Doctors and Nurses at Juravinski and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Major, Dr. Kane, Dr. Clarke and Dr. Andrus, nurses Susan, Sue and Marian for the wonderful care and attention given to Tina. Tina always lit up the room with her infectious smile and energy, now she’ll be in heaven entertaining all our dear family and friends. Forever in our hearts and never forgotten, until we meet again our sweet angel. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Private family funeral service will be held the following day.
