Condolences

Condolence From: Arnold Pittao
Condolence: Although I never met Joyce in person, we corres-ponded extensively when I was doing the Power- point presentation on her hybridizing of roses for the Canadian Rose Society. She was a pleasure to work with and I was honoured to be able to record the story of her breeding. We shared a common bond in Jesus Christ, making our friendship even more meaningful.

Condolence From: Lynne Holland
Condolence: So many fond memories of dear Joyce: her kindness and compassion; her sunny nature; her advice on our (hopeless) garden and the sharing of many tea parties. Dianne (in England) and I send our best wishes and love to all the family. Lynne Holland.

Condolence From: Mary-Lou Ambrose-Little
Condolence: What a wonderful person, she will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. If I wasn't at my home as a child most people knew I was the Fleming's and Mrs. Fleming always made me feel welcome. She always thought of me as her fifth child. When I was getting married the Fleming family hosted a wedding shower for me. How can I ever repay this kindness. My husband Larry Little was truly amazed by this kindness and enjoyed your Mother's company as well. To the family, I can only say it does get easier as time passes and try to focus on the great things your Mother did for you. You are very fortunate to have had such a great role model and mentor. Our sincere condolences to you all. Mary-Lou Ambrose-Little (& Larry too!)
