Dear Pat and family
I was elder for your mum and Dad when they were members of Wellington Square UC. What wonderful people. I really enjoyed my visits with them. Fred made beautiful wood carvings and contributed so much to Scouting. I will always remember both of them fondly.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Freddie's passing. He was a kind and gentle man and touched many peoples lives.
Freddie was also one of those people you meet maybe once in a life time and will be remembered as that special person who you crossed paths with. We were indeed blessed to have Freddie as a Scouter and friend. He will be missed.
