BARNETT, Donald W. L.-
Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Monday, September 2, 2013, Donald Barnett of Burlington in his 92nd year. Beloved husband for 59 years of the late Lilian Jeanette Barnett. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Paul (Colleen), John (Jane), Kevin, and Michelle (Jody), grandchildren, Christopher, Michael (Val), Seanna (Lucy), Mary and Wendy and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother, Cyril in England. Donald was a veteran of World War II where he served with The Royal Navy, an original member of C.S.M.M.I. and founder of The Golden Horseshoe Postcard Club. Funeral Service will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. with reception following at the Funeral Home. Cremation. If desired expressions of sympathy to the Resident Recreation Fund at the Village of Tansley Woods Retirement would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
